I tackled my handbags 6 months ago and had to do them again last weekend because of all the new ones I've been buying. I sold MANY but it didn't make much of a dent as you can see below...

I knew I was going to sort this out so I created a mess on the bottom of my wardrobe during the last few days (yes, it felt good)

Sorting it all out
- I put one awkward shape inside of another very big bag.
- I used the space on the floor along the back (orange bag) and surrounding my basket (beige and brown bags).
- I rolled up some bags and positioned smaller, lesser-used bags in my basket. This basket currently holds 8!
- The basket stashes under my new lime-green organiser (for spring) because the shelves are quite narrow, which makes for a neater look.
Here is the end result - 20 bags, beautifully organised
In case you're counting, I am wearing number 20! :-)

WOW! That IS a lot of hangbags...lol Great before and after shots. I have 5 different bags but at the moment I just throw my purse, mobile phone and a small makeup case (with headache tablets, lipgloss, comb, and gum)in the baby's nappy (diaper) bag as it's easier just carrying that than 2 bags.

Wow, that's a lot of purses. I think I have 5 and I just bought 2 of those a couple of weeks ago.
I usually get rid of my old ones unless I *really* love the purse.

Wow! You do have a lot of bags but I know people with a lot more, so don't worry. *lol* I only have 6 so I guess it should be a piece of cake organizing them. Oh well, I will. Some day. Soon...

I have one. I use it everyday until it looks awful and then I go to Shopko and buy another one. I know I'm a "cheapo".
A friend was telling me about a "purse show" she went to. It is like a Pamper Chef party. I admitted I didn't know they did home purse shows. She laughed. :)

I'm close to you, but don't have 20. I keep my purses on a shelf in the top of my closet.
You remember, the closet that is organized, and I'm going to take a picture for you so you can be soooo proud of me? Except that I haven't done that yet? :)
