Works for me Wednesday - storage for small bathroom

Works for me Wednesday home

Loooong ago, I posted about the smallest bathroom in the world - mine!

As you can well imagine, storage is a problem so we do a couple of things to maximise the space:
  1. we use a shower caddy for shampoo, shower gel, soap and so on
  2. I keep hooks in the shower for facecloths and loofah sponges
  3. I keep a medium-sized plastic basket in the shower for my cleaning supplies
  4. I have hooks just outside the shower for the towels (you can just about see the towel if you click my original link)
  5. I use this 3-tiered plastic basket. A vegetable rack would serve the same purpose.

Top - all my make-up (in lots of containers to keep the space organised). The purple mesh bag is if I have appointments after work and I have to take some of my "serious" make-up with me

Medium - lesser-used items, some hair stuff, etc.

Bottom - spare toilet rolls

What kinds of solutions do you have for small spaces?

WOW! i came for wordless W but found this. Wonderful! Love the ideas, you go straight to my linklist at Mama´s Coffee Corner! I seriously need to get more organized! I´ll have to get a basket like that, I have been thinking about it for so long but never come around to do it! Thanks for great tips!

We have a tiny apartment kitchen. My "solution" has been to expand to using the coat closet top shelf (the entryway is right next to the kitchen) as an additional pantry. :-) We also have a shelf in the living room (open to the kitchen so just a step out) that holds additional food stuff. Not sure if that counts as I am not exactly using only the tiny kitchen as-is!

OK, are you sitting down?? My solutions are no solutions at all. I either scale back big time, so that the space isn't overwhelmed, or I don't. How's that for organized consistency?? :) It never used to bother me that a space had too much stuff in it until this past Feb. when I started blogging and found YOU!! :)

LOVE the green caddy and how well it fits into the corner. I went back and looked at the pictures of your bathroom and had to laugh, did you really stand on the toilet for the one picture? LOL, you crack me up!!

I also love the green caddy. That looks so much prettier than a veggie bin.

Loved your ideas. Got a good chuckle out of the "special feeling" revlon shampoo. :)
