Friday Declutter Challenge - T-shirts!

Right, so today we're decluttering T-shirts.

I want you to go through all those T-shirts, especially those at the back of your cupboard...I have them so I know you have them too :)

Look what I found...

an ex-boyfriend's T-shirt from university!

and one from when we worked in the children's church before we were married actually (this is 14 years old)

You should be wearing clothes that fit well and that flatter you because you're worth it.

Throw out those old T-shirts - I don't even think you should keep them to wear to the gym because you deserve to look cute even when you're all hot and sweaty from exercising.

How many T-shirts did you get rid of today?

I purged my T shirts a couple years ago. There were shirts from high school and one from an old boy friend 20 years ago!!! I am no longer sentimental about T shirts. In fact, I don't hardly buy them at all. (I think I have 3) Now, if I could get my husband to got through his.... They are taking up way too much valuable closet space!

Oh, you're going to make me do the "Seasonal Switch-out", aren't you! I've been putting off putting away the cold-weather clothes and pulling out the warm-weather clothes for a while now, but I guess there's no avoiding it now...

Some old shirts have memories attached to them. They might be harder to get rid of.

Since you just had a wedding anniversary those t-shirts are seriously old!!! What were you doing with them - I just chuckled at that!!! Even Organizing Queen's have baggage!!!

I am going to follow this challenge. I went through my t-shirts last Sept and purged. I looked back through them and have decided I need to buy some. I have none with any sayings on them anymore more mature t-shirts.
So off to shop this weekend.

I renovated a house last year so I had a LOT of paint shirts & paint pants. I think it was my uniform for about 6 months. LOL Last week I decided that I was done with them and I tossed all of it. 8 t-shirts and two pairs of pants.

I also tossed out about 6 shirts that had stains on them, that I kept hoping I could fix somehow. Tossed those, too.

4 shirts went to the Good Will resale shop that were stain free, but no longer shirts I wanted to wear.

I only have three drawers and two shelves in our closet, so usually I'm pretty good about the "one in, one out rule." I bought a few new items last week, so that's why I did the big purge of paint clothes.
