The kids are like “whatever” but the moms want to keep their “babies’ handiwork”. So cute!

I love how you’ve set boundaries and how you get your books only as gifts and from the library.

Military Momz
I had a fabulous Valentine's, thank you. Did absolutely nothing and had a lovely romantic evening in ;)

Love that you also use a secondhand bookstore - they are great, aren't they?Marcia Francoishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13516774065137063145noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24978502.post-24077191415492415352009-02-14T04:59:00.000+02:002009-02-14T04:59:00.000+02:00I love books! Hope you have a great Valentines's Day!Military Momzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05642476607446611964noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24978502.post-81961192155133622652009-02-13T22:46:00.000+02:002009-02-13T22:46:00.000+02:00Does it count that I have two large moving boxes i...Does it count that I have two large moving boxes in the basement, full of books, that I have marked for donation? I don't know if I could take the emotional stress of letting go of any more. Books. Wow. They rank right up there with kitchen stuff. Man, Marcia... you always make it difficult! Why can't we declutter garage stuff or cleaning supplies or old makeup? Ooo. I could even declutter my husband's 4 -count them- FOUR t-shirt drawers....!Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15593051275290789826noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24978502.post-59031841171058880682009-02-13T22:12:00.000+02:002009-02-13T22:12:00.000+02:00It's funny that you brought up this topic....I don...It's funny that you brought up this topic....

I don't ever have any problem managing my own books. It's my kids books that I struggle with keeping dialed in. I spent a few hours (yes, I said hours) earlier this week sorting through my kids books to see if I can get rid of any. I know we had duplicates and some of the "baby" books can be donated or packed away (I like saving their favorites for their kids). It's really hard for me to part with children's books. I find that if I sort though them every now and then, get rid of a few. We also no longer BUY books (we get them as gifts) and we go to the library once a week.Megan Spearshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08503413484005990059noreply@blogger.com
